Hip and Knee Specialist

Dr. Delgado holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Doctor of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the country’s leading university, the University of the Philippines. He then completed his orthopedic training at the country’s national tertiary hospital – Philippine General Hospital. He graduated from his training with top honors, having been awarded the Most Outstanding Resident by the Philippine Board of Orthopedics more than once during his training. He was later on chosen to serve as the Chief Resident of the hospital’s Orthopedics department.

Dr. Delgado undertook further subspecialist training in Australia and Germany where he refined his methodology in a wide range of procedures. He completed a Fellowship in Hip and Knee Preservation, Replacement and Revision Surgery at the Brisbane Private Hospital, Queensland, Australia. Afterwards, he further advanced his expertise by finishing a Fellowship in Revision Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in Helios Endo-Klinik, Hamburg, Germany – notably as the first Filipino fellow accepted in this internationally recognized center which has been at the forefront of Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Surgery worldwide for almost 50 years.

Dr. Delgado is well recognized in his field of Orthopedics, having multiple international research publications and presentations. He has received numerous awards for his performance and researches since his training and is passionate in teaching Orthopedics to younger generations, specifically Hip and Knee joint replacement surgeries.

He maintains his prestigious memberships as a Fellow of the Philippine Orthopedic Association, the Philippine College of Surgeons and the Philippine Hip and Knee Society. In his years of medical practice, Dr. Delgado applies the philosophy that good patient care – built on trust – is providing the best medical advice and best clinical outcomes in a caring and friendly manner.
